Super Typhoon Ruby Update as of 11:01AM Today

More than half a million have been evacuated to critical areas, said by (DSWD) Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Early today, in PAGASA website, the eye of Typhoon "RUBY" was located based on all available data at 240 km east northeast of Borongan, Eastern Samar (12.0ºN, 127.6ºE), with maximum sustained winds of 195 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 230 kph. It was tracked at 4:00 AM today.

It will also be affecting the Northern Luzon as it is forecast to move west at 10 kph.
At this time, the province of Cebu already experiencing gusty winds, rainshowers and light thunderstorms.

The picture below was captured via satellite as of 11:01AM today. As you can see, the gusty wind blows all over around the Philippines.



PAG-ASA forecast Eastern and Central Visayas, Bicol Region and the provinces of Dinagat, Quezon, Romblon and Marinduque will experience stormy weather while the Western Visayas, rest of Caraga and the province of Camiguin will have rains with gusty winds with rough to very rough seas. 

The regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos will be cloudy with light rains. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
